Apollo appoints Ciara Sheikh as Interim Executive Underwriter, Cargo
LONDON: Apollo, the innovative integrated insurance group, today announces the appointment of Ciara Sheikh as Interim Executive Underwriter, Cargo. In addition to her Hull Underwriter role, Ciara will be responsible for leading Apollo’s Cargo team, reporting to Richard Panter.
Ciara has been with Apollo since 2022 as a Marine Hull underwriter. Prior to Apollo, Ciara spent five years at MS Amlin, where she held various Marine roles including building a profitable book of regional Hull, Yacht, Marine Liabilities, Fixed Premium P&I, Cargo, and Specie business. Ciara will be supported by Ralph Adams-Hale from Apollo’s Smart Follow team.
